Unlock the potential of your corporate photographer with just two words: stock photography.

In the whirlwind of marketing activities, teams are often swamped, tackling urgent tasks head-on. When hiring a photographer, their project scope tends to focus on immediate needs rather than a broader set of requirements.
Looking to refresh website headshots? Think bigger.
Seeking event photography for corporate communications? Think bigger still.
Stock photography is the ultimate tactic for getting more done in less time for less money.
Real world example
I was recently hired by Gigascale, a venture capital firm that invests in clean tech companies, for headshot photography and event photography at a three-day, two-night founder’s retreat.
A few days in advance of the gathering, my client opened the aperture of the engagement, asking me to also capture textures, patterns, and visual “ideas” in nature and fabricated goods.
It was an incredibly smart move. By expanding my creative freedom, it enabled me to fulfill three roles for the price of one. I provided headshot and event photography, in addition to delivering a portfolio of over 50 stock images perfect for use in promotional materials, including PPT presentations, newsletters, and blog posts.
Next time you hire a corporate photographer, think big and expand the scope of work. You’ll discover that your photographer is not only capable but eager to accomplish far more in a single engagement than you might imagine.
