That’s the name of the photo
It’s never occurred to me to name an image before
But after I finished the edit, I realized I’d been addressing it by name all along

I celebrate brute physical realities
Stones, rivers, and trees
Eyes and freckles

Elemental things
They resist political wish and spin
They are what they are through themselves and no other
