Late last year, during an outdoor teen portrait photography session, I captured two besties as they prepared to graduate high school and hit the open road for college. In addition to their joy and laughter, I was deeply impressed by just how much they cared for and supported each other in the field. In fact, the image in the top right captures their “twoness” perfectly. The photo has become one of my favorites from 2023, and maybe even from the last few years.
